金沙最新手机版 has partnered with the Oneida County Sheriff's Office to offer the 警察职前培训 Program, a quick-start alternative to traditional police academies, which require that a cadet be hired as a police officer 开始训练前. In the case of pre-employment 培训, there is no such 要求.
The mission of the 警察 Pre-Employment 警察 Training Program is to train individuals who have the potential to become honest, ethical, knowledgeable, competent and fit 执法人员. Pre-Employment recruits receive 85 percent of the basic 培训 required to become police officers in New York State, including emergency vehicle operation, defensive tactics, basic patrol tactics and procedures, and an educational foundation in law, all taught by law enforcement officials and MVCC adjunct 教师. The course is directed by Troy Little, who is retired from the New York State 警察.
Pre-Employment students do not receive firearms 培训, counter-terrorism awareness 培训, any defensive tactics that involve the use of a police baton, or field 培训. Additional 培训 to complete the Basic Course for 警察 Officers can only be obtained once a student has been hired by a police agency and becomes a sworn police officer.

Individuals wishing to enter the 警察职前培训 Program must meet the following 要求s prior to being considered for the program:
- Be a citizen of the United 州 of America or lawfully reside within the United 州
- Be at least 19 years old at the start of the program.
- Must not have been convicted of a felony
- Possess either a high school diploma or a General Education Diploma (GED)
- Be prepared to engage in a strenuous fitness program
Once all the above 要求s are met, an individual would need to:
- Be medi呼叫y evaluated to determine if they are physi呼叫y able to participate in 培训
- Successfully complete a board interview
- Be willing to sign the “Student Warning Notice” that explains the actual value of 警察职前培训
- If accepted, follow all rules as described in the Rules and Regulations of 警察 职前培训
- If accepted, a student may miss no more than 10% of classes, and may miss no classes in which attendance is mandated by the State of New York.
